It all started with one apartment. An apartment that belonged to my father — and that we wanted to keep alive after he passed away. It was our way of continuing to give it life, even after he was gone. We began by renting it to friends — always with care, professionalism, and that genuine warmth of welcoming someone into your home. Soon, our friends started asking us to manage their own apartments too. And just like that, one small step turned into a path. Along the way, we discovered the true joy and value of local accommodation. Then, the stars aligned — and Laura came along. She arrived with a smile, endless energy, and a determination to do things right. Today, Laura is much more than the person who welcomes our guests: she’s the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly, every detail is looked after, and every house has a soul. She’s become essential — one of the most recognised and beloved faces of our project. Of course, not everything was easy. The pandemic brought the world to a halt — and us along with it. With flights grounded and doors closed, it seemed impossible to imagine tourists returning to Madeira. But we made it through. And when we came back, it was with even more passion — to do better, to welcome better, to keep our story alive. Today, almost 15 years later, we look back with pride and forward with confidence in what’s yet to come. Because what began as a single apartment has grown into a project full of life — built on people, stories, and journeys that cross paths — always with the same care and love as welcoming someone into our own home.
